COVID-19_ Summer Internships & Early Career Recruiting.mp4 87.9 MB

The current COVID-19 crisis has come with many difficult decisions on how we handle our current workforce. But what about those who haven't joined the workforce yet? Many companies began selecting their 2020 class of interns and new graduate talent months ago and are struggling with how to handle things in the current climate. How can we provide the best experience for individuals that represent the future of our company, with the knowledge that the typical programs will have to be tremendously altered or cancelled?

Join Jennifer Tracy, Vice President of Recruiting Solutions at Spectrum, Carter Bradley, Founder & Partner at Ivy Research Council, and TALK's own Lori Murin, as we explore our options on how to best accommodate 2020 interns and graduates.

About the Panelists:

Carter Bradley
Carter  is one of the co-founders of Ivy Research Council (IRC). IRC was started in 2016 to advise the country's top companies and professional firms on their largest university recruiting and entry-level talent issues. Each year, IRC runs scores of research studies on hundreds of college campuses across the country, interviewing and surveying thousands of students, to advise its client membership on their top issues - diversity recruiting, attracting technical talent, virtual recruiting strategies, retention, and many others.

IRC’s client membership consists of 150+ university recruiting and TA leaders from dozens of industries. IRC’s role is that of a research advisor – to study the issues its members deem most pressing and bring them the most effective strategies their peers are using in their recruiting efforts. To that end, Carter conducts hundreds of conversations yearly with university recruiting leaders to present new findings, hear about their largest university recruiting issues, and advise them on the strategies of their peers.
